A sample preparation lab is also located in close proximity to the Hub\u2019s primary instrumentation to help facilitate efficient usage of the microscopy, metrology, and mechanical characterization instrumentation. All hourly-based and sample-based instrumentation is managed through MDERFH\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vanderbilt.corefacilities.org\/service_center\/show_external\/5531\">iLab Core<\/a>. Project-based instrumentation is managed by the department in which the instrument resides.
