Role of inflammation in retinopathy conditions
I was born and raised in Massena, NY. I traveled south to attend the College of William and Mary in Virginia, receiving a B.S. (1990) and M.A. (1992) in chemistry. After leaving William and Mary, I worked as an analytical chemist for Shire Pharmaceuticals (formerly Pharmavene) in Rockville, MD and for the Cedra Corp. in Austin, TX. At Cedra, I spent most of my time developing LC-MS assays for small molecules in biological matrices.
