Uddin Laboratory for Ocular Imaging

Maryam was born and raised in Kurdistan, Iraq. Maryam earned her B.S. in biochemistry from Middle Tennessee State University. Arabic, Kurdish, and Turkish are among the languages that Maryam is fluent in. Currently, Maryam is a research assistant II who is focused on Synthesizing RNA and DNA. Outside of the workplace, Maryam likes to spend time with her family, cook, and exercise.
