Blake Dieckmann

Research Assistant III

Blake is currently working on multiple projects in the Uddin lab. These focus on using novel probes developed within the lab to elucidate the mechanisms behind such diseases as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration, in hopes to find new potential therapies. When Blake is not in the lab or teaching chemistry to students at a local high school, he spends his time with his wife, dog, and cat. Most nights they can be seen roaming their neighborhood with dog on leash and cat in stroller.
