Rachel McKane, Ph.D.

Rachel McKane graduated from Vanderbilt in 2020 with a Doctoral degree in Sociology. Following graduation Rachel worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Vanderbilt University Department of Sociology and the Vanderbilt Institute for Energy and the Environment. While at Vanderbilt Rachel served as a lead research assistant in the Drinking Water Justice Lab from 2018 through 2020, working on the Tennessee Community Water System (CWS) Estimated Service Area Boundary (ESAB) Digitization Process and the Human Body Organ Systems Contaminants Framework projects. Rachel now works as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Population Studies and Training Center at Brown University.
