Paul Johnson is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Vanderbilt University who specializes in risk-related applications of machine learning and statistical modeling. He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Vanderbilt, a MS in Engineering Management from Duke, and a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech. In addition to his academic career, Paul had multiple years of experience working in the FinTech sector as well leading healthcare related non-profit efforts.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys playing tennis and going on hikes with the coolest dog of all time!
