Natalie N. Robbins, P.S.M.

Spatial Scientist, Vanderbilt Institute for Spatial Research


Natalie Robbins is a spatial scientist who has been with Vanderbilt since 2019. She has a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Arizona and a Professional Science Master’s in Environmental Informatics from Tennessee Tech University. Natalie works as a spatial research consultant on a variety of multi-faceted, interdisciplinary projects and has experience ranging from geologic mapping, to spatial statistical modeling, and even geophysical survey, utilizing ground penetrating radar and magnetic gradiometer. With the lab, Natalie has been serving as a geo-consultant on the Tennessee Community Water Systems Estimated Service Area Boundaries (CWS ESAB) Digitization Project.

When she is not mapping, Natalie enjoys spending time exploring with her dog Lucy, hitting the farmers market, and diving in to a good novel.
