Minoli G. Fernando

Minoli Fernando is a senior double majoring in Environmental Sociology and Medicine Health and Society (MHS). Since Spring 2021, Minoli has been an undergraduate research assistant for the Drinking Water Justice Lab. She started by working on the Tennessee Community Water Systems Estimated Service Area Boundaries (CWS ESAB) Digitization Project. Currently, she is taking an active leadership role on the Human Body Organ Systems Project. Minoli is also the lead undergraduate research assistant on the Sensitive Subpopulations Project which will culminate as her MHS senior honors thesis. As an aspiring physician, she hopes to integrate this environmental health research into the healthcare community to improve the treatment of drinking water-related diseases.
