Cate M. Paxton

Cate Paxton graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Human & Organizational Development and Art History. She joined the Drinking Water Justice Lab in Fall 2019 and worked as a research assistant on the Tennessee Public Water Operator survey project. Her research interests in the lab lie in workforce development in the water industry, which was the focus of her HOD Honors pilot study and thesis, Retaining an essential workforce: A quantitative analysis of workforce retention factors among water operators in Tennessee. Cate currently works as an Analyst with the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
