John M. Williams II

 

Originally from Orlando, FL, John earned his BS in Chemistry & Life Science with a Nuclear Engineering Minor from the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY, in 2004. In 2008, He earned an MA in Leadership Studies from the University of Texas, El Paso, and in 2012, a MS in Biomedical Engineering from the Joint program at UNC Chapel Hill and NCSU. John previously taught general chemistry and Bioengineering at USMA, and Nutritional Biology at St Thomas Aquinas College. His current research is focused on applications of Photosystem I in developing advanced bio-hybrid solar cells for expeditionary energy. John has been married to his wife Candace for 13 years, and they have 4 children aged from 6 years old to 9 months.
