Lorraine Mion

Lorraine Mion, PhD, RN is a research professor and registered nurse with specific training and expertise in geriatrics and quality improvement and implementation science.  She has conducted behavioral studies and clinical trials involving older adults residing in the community, long term care and acute care settings with a focus on enhancing or maintaining cognitive function, physical function and improving quality of life.  She collaborates with members of the RASL on application of socially assistive robotic systems and augmented reality for older adults with cognitive impairment.
